In 1890 Nicola Illuminati founded the winery known as Nicó Farm. Today Dino Illuminati shares his grandfather’s passion employing the same skilled craftsmanship. Together with his family they cultivated 110 hectares of
vineyards stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the Gran Sasso Mountain.

Fosso Corno Estate was founded in 2001 and is located in Roseto Degli Abruzzi in the province of Teramo and covers 30 hectares on a single hill with an altitude between 100 and 160 mt/asl planted on clay soil.
This generous land is particularly endowed with a fortunate natural position, and is renowned for its typical wines.

Fontefico produces 5 wines reflecting various facets of a particular territory: Pecorino Superiore, Cerasuolo Superiore,
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Titinge Montepulciano Riserva, and the wonderful Costetoste Aglianico. Vigorous wines,
characterised by fresh acidity and deep fruit. Every wine produced is a Cru, i.e., coming from a specific vineyard, with optimal
climatic conditions for producing quality grapes and good wine.
